Caring for Your WEAV Hijab
Washing Instructions
  • Hand wash in cold water for best results
  • Use a mild, liquid detergent (no bleach or harsh chemicals)
Drying Instructions
  • Lay flat to dry on a clean surface to maintain shape
  • No wringing or twisting, as it can damage the fibers
Ironing Instructions
  • Use a low to medium heat setting (ideally steam iron)
  • Avoid high heat as modal is sensitive to high temperatures
General Care & Storage
  • Storage: Fold neatly and store in a cool, dry place. Avoid hanging for long periods to prevent stretching
  • Pilling: Modal is soft and may pill over time if rubbed against rough surfaces (e.g., Velcro, zippers)
  • Made from pure 100% modal, we recommend gentle care to preserve its quality
Travel Care
  • Roll, don’t fold: Rolling keeps fabric smooth and prevents creases
  • Protective pouch: Carry a small scarf pouch to keep hijabs safe from makeup spills, pens, or food in your bag
  • Quick freshen-up: Lightly mist with water and hang in the hotel bathroom during a shower - the steam helps relax wrinkles
  • On-the-go ironing alternative: A mini fabric steamer or even a hair straightener (on low heat) can remove creases
  • Emergency fix: A mini pack of hijab magnets and a travel-sized fabric freshener can save the day
